Scripture: Proverbs 15:16 Better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith.

Thought: Peace of mind is much more valuable than material wealth.  It is the Lord who can give you that peace.

Monday, May 5th

Scripture: Psalm 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for thou, Lord, makest me dwell in safety.

Thought: Are sleep and rest hard to find?  Put your trust in the Lord and experience His wonderful peace.
 

Tuesday, May 6th

Scripture: John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Thought: You can have real peace.  Place you life and your cares into the hands of Jesus.
 

Wednesday, May 7th

Scripture: Matthew 17:7
And Jesus came and touched them, and said, “Arise and be not afraid.”

Thought: Let Jesus touch your life.  He will calm the storms in you life.  

Thursday, May 8th

Scripture: Psalm 40:1-2 
I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry.  He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.

Thought:  Call out to the Lord.  He will hear you and He will raise you up.

Friday, May 9th

Scripture: Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Thought: Do you want peace of mind?  Keep your thoughts on the Lord.  Stay in His Word and you’ll find peace.

Saturday, May 10th   

Scripture: Psalm 34:18-19
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.  Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

Thought: The Lord will see you through your crisis.  He will be near to you when you call out to Him.
